Turn Instagram comments into helpful DMs

Choose a post and keyword, write your reply, and review the automation before turning it on.

Example: deliver a guide

1. Someone comments “GUIDE” on your post.
2. Dayrect matches your keyword and sends an opening DM with a button.
3. The person taps the button, and your automation sends the guide link.

Set it up

1. Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account.
2. Choose the post and the keyword people should comment.
3. Write the DM—a link, a message, or both—and the public confirmation. For this example, enable an opening message with a button.
4. Save, test your automation, then activate it when you are ready.

Know the limits

• Only Instagram Business and Creator accounts are supported. Free includes 1 account, 5 active automations, 1,000 active contacts and 100 AI actions a month.
• One public reply and one private reply per comment; at most three public replies per person per post in 24 hours.
• The DM window lasts 24 hours after the person’s last message. Tapping the opening reply button counts as a message.
• On Free, automated DMs end with “via @dayrect.autodm”, at most once a day per person; public replies never carry it.
