Dayrect

AI Replies to Instagram Comments

Dayrect helps your Instagram page answer varied comments publicly in the page's own language, instead of posting the same fixed line under every comment. The reply appears under the comment; a private message with a requested link is a separate automation.

What AI comment replies do

An AI reply is a public response to a comment. It can suit a greeting, a general question, or a comment that needs a short acknowledgement. For example, a page might answer “That looks lovely” with “Thank you! Which color caught your eye?” These are illustrative words, not a promised output.

A keyword automation has a different job. If someone comments a word to request a specific guide or catalogue, a configured comment-to-DM rule can send the prepared resource privately. See the Instagram comment-to-DM setup guide and copyable message examples.

Keep those paths clear: a public reply does not prove that a DM was sent, and a DM does not replace the public response. Do not tell someone “sent” in a public comment unless you know the message arrived.

Responses in the page's language

Dayrect supports AI replies in the page's own language. Choose short examples that sound natural for your audience, and review them for meaning. Do not assume every dialect or local expression will be understood perfectly.

For example, a neutral greeting could receive “Thanks for stopping by!” A question about an offer might receive a brief reply pointing to the current post details. The second example should only mention terms the page owner has actually confirmed.

Choose which comments should get a reply

Decide what a useful public answer looks like for your page. Greetings and simple, general questions may be suitable. Complaints, unclear requests, personal account details, or questions about a specific order may need a person who can check the details.

If a comment needs individual attention, do not invent a policy or promise an automatic handoff. Leave room for the page owner to review it and reply through their normal support process.

Prepare facts and boundaries first

AI should use only information the page owner has checked. Write down the facts that can safely appear in a public reply: what the page offers, how someone can find current details, and any approved support route. Keep private information and unconfirmed proposals out of those facts.

Never let a reply guess a price, discount, stock level, delivery date, or business result. If the answer depends on an option or current availability, point to a verified source or ask the person to contact the page. Essential buying terms should remain clear in the public offer or product listing too.

Try four types of comment while reviewing the feature: a greeting, a question about a current offer, an unclear request, and a complaint. Treat sample wording as an illustration until you have reviewed what your own page produces.

Configure and review public AI replies

The account-level option is called Auto-reply to comments. Its description says it replies to comments on any post, with keyword automations answering first. Choose AI writes short replies for AI-generated public responses. Other visible controls include Reply style, Skip questions, and Your replies; the last applies to the fixed-reply mode.

1 Choose the reply mode

Open Auto-reply to comments for the connected account and select AI writes short replies. The feature is account-level and covers comments on any post. Keyword automations answer first, so keep a specific request such as a guide link in its own rule.

2 Set a useful boundary

Choose a reply style that fits your page. Use Skip questions if you want questions left for you to answer personally. Keep any facts brief, current, and suitable for a public comment. Do not include details that belong in a private conversation.

3 Review sample comments and replies

Read the proposed or published replies in context. Check whether each answer is accurate, relevant, and appropriate for a public thread. If a reply makes up a term or misses a complaint, adjust the settings or handle that type of comment yourself.

Keep a keyword action distinct. A comment asking for a specific link can use the comment-to-DM guide; the public AI reply should not imply that the private resource arrived. If the requested resource is a catalogue, use the message template.

Understand AI action use

AI replies use AI actions. Free includes 100 AI actions per month, and an AI action is one model call recorded by the service. That is a monthly allowance, not unlimited AI use. The exact plan details can change, so check current pricing before choosing a plan.

This allowance is separate from the number of deterministic keyword messages covered by the active-contact allowance. Avoid assuming that every comment necessarily uses a model call; the product records AI actions according to its usage rules.

The Free plan also includes one Instagram account, 1,000 active contacts per month, and five active automations. An active contact is someone with at least one inbound or outbound message during the calendar month. These are plan limits, not guarantees about comment volume or outcomes.

Frequently asked questions

Are AI comment replies public or private?

They are public replies under comments. A keyword-triggered DM is a separate configured flow.

Does Dayrect reply in my page's language?

Dayrect supports AI replies in the page's own language. Review examples in context; no promise is made about perfect handling of every dialect.

Can a keyword comment still send a link privately?

Yes. Configure a separate comment-to-DM rule with the requested message and link. A public reply does not confirm private delivery.

What if a comment needs a person?

Use Skip questions where appropriate and review sensitive, unclear, complaint, or account-specific comments through your normal support process.

Is AI reply use unlimited on Free?

No. Free includes 100 AI actions per month. Review pricing for current plan terms.
